The Brief:
MAGPAS Air Ambulance were looking for a new event to appeal to their existing family supporters, as well as to attract a new family audience to the charity. They wanted a fun event that combined several different elements of previous successful events in a ‘Mash Up’ style.
The Event: A Family OCR with Water, Bubbles and Inflatables
Gladiator Events designed a 5km course making the most of the varied features on a beautiful Estate in Hertfordshire, then designed 8 different obstacles to enjoy, including a highlight foamy slide right at the finish line for participants to finish on a high and to attract all the spectators for a high energy finish.
The Result: 700 Happy Participants and Further Growth for 2024
Almost 700 people attended the event on a busy weekend that included the King’s Coronation, which MAGPAS were really pleased with. Feedback was hugely positive and we are busy planning a bigger event for 2024 with some exciting changes and additions to the obstacles and course!
