Why did we Certify?
As a business that is passionate about making a positive change to the World, becoming a B Corp was an obvious goal for us.
Our clients are all charities, and we feel it is very important to demonstrate that the money they pay us, that has in turn been donated to them in good faith, is being used responsibly. This certification proves that we are delivering their events responsibly, that we are walking the walk and not just talking the talk.
What does it Mean?
We are now part of a global movement of businesses looking to pave the way for a new way of doing business. The B Corporation economy is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
As B Corporations and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe:
That we must be the change we seek in the World
That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered
That, through their products, practices and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all
To do this requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
