General Operations Crew FAQ’s

  • Our application process is pretty straightforward – You complete a LiveForce application (using the link above) which tells us about your experience and skills and submit a short 5 (ish) min video explaining a little more about yourself, highlighting what interests you about working with Gladiator Events and what you could bring to the team. Once you have submitted your video AND completed your application, they will be reviewed by our recruitment team. After you are accepted onto LiveForce you will have full access to our events calendar where you can apply for roles. We have a role constantly available on LiveForce for each event which is, in essence, a waiting list role which we can use to back fill any positions that may become vacant last minute. So even if all roles are filled for an event and you would like to work it - please apply for the waiting list role!

  • When our events are multiple days and where possible, we will always look to use local accommodation near to the event village. Our preference is to book accommodation with catering facilities however it is dependent on the availability of options in the local area. You will be sharing a room with a same sex team member.

  • We operate across the whole of the UK. When applying for roles on LiveForce, you will see where each event is based (normally the Event Village location). Please ensure you have the ability to reach the site prior to applying for a role. It is worth noting that some of our events are in rural locations.

  • We are always reviewing our rates to ensure they remain competitive! Roles start at £135 per day. All roles and rates are available to view on LiveForce.

You are required to complete and send an invoice to crew@gladiatorevents.co.uk‍ ‍for your payment to be processed.

Please note we do not process payments through LiveForce.

  • We aim to clear all invoices within 14 days of the event finishing however in most cases this is as little as 7 days.

  • Yes – however these are event specific. Some of our events you are provided with catering onsite, others you are offered a food allowance to make and bring your own provisions. Each event listing on LiveForce highlights the food provision in advance.

  • After you have been accepted onto a role for one of our events you will receive a one month to go email from the Event Manager. This email will contain more information about the event itself, your accommodation, food provisions and all need to know information!

You will also be invited to access a google drive which will contain all the key documents for the event.

  • We will always have an Event Manager (and very often a Deputy Event Manager) on site who are able to support you. We also have an off site Escalation Manager who is there should you need help or support and do not feel comfortable speaking to the onsite Management team. Details of the on site and off site managers are provided in your one month to go email.

  • We would suggest good walking boots, waterproofs (we’ve all worked a outdoors in the British summer!), hats (for sun and cold!) practical outdoor shorts or trousers and sun protection! You can view our full suggested kit list in the Operations Crew Documents field.
